We had a very productive day today! The weather was finally cooperative after high winds on Tuesday and rain on Wednesday. It is definitely coming together and starting to look like a home. It took only two days to install the exterior ICE Panel walls for this 1508 square foot bungalow. We will move to interior framing next week and wait for the trusses to arrive to put on the roof and start on the double attached garage and bonus room above. It will be extremely energy efficient. Hard to beat this technology.

Great News!!
Riel Trail Homes has partnered with Greener Developments, located in the Qu'Appelle Valley in the quaint town of Lumsden, SK. We started on the first show home this past week. We began by using a double 18" LVL perimeter and a superior floor system to build upon. The HTS Beams from Twin River Beams, manufactured locally in Leader, Sk. can clear span up to 60' and allow us to eliminate bearing walls, posts and beams. Stay tuned for updates as we progress through the build.

It's a great feeling to hand the keys over to the homeowners after working tirelessly these past several months building and creating the home of their dreams.

A huge thanks to the professional trades who helped us with this project! We are very thankful to have surrounded ourselves with a team of professionals who take pride in their work and pay attention to the smallest details.

This home renovation and addition all started as a result of the lack of space in the kitchen and dining room. You can see from the Before and After pictures that the layout has significantly improved and entertaining family and friends will now be a dream come true.
