Another job down

A job in Oshweken where Routr 54 Gas station is.

A Salt Bin and Truck Pad installed for the customer

It was a decent sized job.

8 to 10 guys on the truck pad and 3 on the salt bin..

After many set backs, the salt bin pad got rained on as we were finishing it. So instead of smooth finish, we did broomed. Saved the pad. No one saw rain in the forecast, but that didnt stop it from raining almost 5mls.

Then the hydraulic hose for the chute on the concrete truck blew, almost ended our day right there for pouring the walls. But luckily it got resolved another way and saved the day!

All said and done, we did the best we could do.

We got it flat as can be!

The concrete pad lies firm and flat, its light-gray surface spreading out with a subtle texture, catching the play of light and shadow. Small divots and faint lines from the curing process give the pad character, hinting at the craftsmanship involved. The surface feels sturdy and cool underfoot, radiating a solid permanence. Edging out from the pad is a narrow cement walkway, cleanly defined and leading purposefully in a straight line. The walkway has a soft slope, guiding one’s steps, perhaps bordered by neatly trimmed grass or freshly mulched beds. Tiny flecks in the concrete catch the light, adding a quiet glimmer. It extends forward, unwavering, a steady path designed for function yet carrying a subtle elegance, blending human design with the grounding presence of concete.
