WE ARE HIRING GENERAL LABOURERS!

We are a family owned Residential building company, based out of the town of Durham, Ontario. We are very busy with jobs in 2022 and 2023, mostly sub-contracted through a larger building company, constructing passive home envelopes. As well as some other projects Powell Builders is taking on independently. You would be trained to build passive homes, using cutting edge techniques to create sustainable homes that are so efficient, you can heat the whole home with a hair dryer.

Interested? We are currently in need of General Labourers, or people with Carpentry experience. The job site locations vary all across Grey Bruce, West Grey and occasionally in the Beaver Valley area.

Ramsey Powell is an owner, field manager and a Red Seal Carpenter himself, who is also looking to enroll keen employees into the Carpentry Apprenticeship program. There is opportunity to work and advance your training certification with Ramsey as your mentor.

The positions are full time, permanent and wages are based on experience and knowledge. Start date would be as soon as possible, pending an interview.

We are looking for keen individuals to join our team who can read a tape measure, have basic power tools knowledge, and some framing or carpentry experience would be an ideal.

Latest project. Ramsey and the team are framing a home on a beautiful property, for friends of ours. First the iso slab foundation, then framing walls. Photos are also of the crane lifting trusses and for the roof. Roof is ready for shingles!
