Air-cooled heat exchangers offer one major advantage in industrial cooling: they don’t rely on a continuous cooling water supply.

That can be especially valuable for remote facilities, where access to water infrastructure may be limited, costly, or difficult to permit and maintain. By rejecting process heat directly to ambient air, ACHEs can reduce the need for water intake systems, chemical treatment, discharge monitoring, and other supporting infrastructure associated with water-based cooling.
