Ever wonder what that sound is when you're in an elevator?

This is the hydraulic system in action.

When the elevator goes up, a (submersible) pump pushes hydraulic oil from the tank to the piston, which raises the cab. When the elevator goes down, the oil simply returns back to the tank under controlled release (control valve).

Simple system, powerful operation!

This specialized casket lift is a reminder that elevators and lifts come in many forms, each designed for a specific purpose.

As part of this project, we custom fabricated new guide shoes to comply with an AEDARSA directive, helping ensure the lift continues to operate safely and reliably.
