Just putting the final finishing touches on a very exciting project for a long term client who has decided to enter the franchise industry by bringing a fresh take on the healthy quick service food segment to Canada from the great USA!
Rush Bowls, founded in Colorado, and exploding in the USA is a true game changer for Canada and offers people something truly different and healthy. We are honored to have been chosen as the builder of their Canadian locations and are excited to turnover this first location to Matt and his Team yesterday. Adding to the excitement, we commence with the second location, in Sherwood park, hopefully within the next week and have plans to commence shortly with 3 more, in Edmonton and Calgary. Great concept, wonderful eats, great people to collaborate with and a great client who is just awesome to work with.
The Whyte Ave location should be opening up by this weekend so if you are out and about, come on by and treat yourself to a "RUSH BOWL"!!

Taking a moment and a breather to bring forth a business lesson........we are never too seasoned, even with several decades of experience in this industry, to learn more about our craft and to endeavor to do better by ourselves and for our clients. We believe people sometimes get caught up in the fact that they know it all and answer to no one. We believe that is a dangerous human flaw, which if left unchecked, will bring one and their company to their/its knees. Our clients look to us for our wisdom, our guidance, our expertise. our integrity and our experience. They also look to us to be humble when we do not have the answers, but expect us to find them, and to put them into practice on their projects. That is why we are paid to do the job we are asked to. And for those that excel, they are rewarded very well for doing so. We love our industry, our business, our great clients and our future referrals. We are grateful for our success and do not forget what it took to achieve where we are as a company. There are more great projects and challenges ahead, as we continue to grow and be presented with new work that requires our tenacity and ingenuity to manage. We move forward with our eyes wide open and our feet on the ground!

GCCI Canada Inc has enjoyed a very exciting 2018 business year thus far. Many new clients whom we have conducted full design builds with and are currently bringing them to completion. A couple very high profile projects underway, one being the newest Rolex/Gemoro location, in Edmonton Alberta, slated to be completed in December of this year. This will be the largest of the 3 that GCCI has built for this client, definitely their "flagship" store. We are very excited for our clients and hope to see our many friends, clients and family come out and shop/see their new location when it opens. GCCI is also stepping into the "Cannabis" business and will commence building several locations throughout Alberta and BC very shortly. These locations come with their challenges in dealing with operation, security, storage of the cannabis etc, but we are honored to be asked to work with this long time client to bring their organization to the leader board. Another long-term existing client of ours has decided to pickup an extremely unique multinational from the USA and is bringing it to Canada, first to Alberta with 16 initial locations and then we will be expanding them into other provinces. Its great to be a part of the team with these new and exciting organizations as they start from the ground floor and grow. We hope to be a measurable part of their success!!

2018. Great start to yet another great year. A renewed optimism is afoot in the West of Canada. Commercial Construction starts continue to grow. We have been approached and introduced to some great new clients this winter and are now collaborating on some new and exciting projects. One in particular, a multinational with a superior concept is top of our list. More news to come.....

2017 has been a very good and steady year for our organization. We have managed to foster many new great business relationships and clients and continue to build our business. 2020 will mark our 50th year since Lionel founded the company in 1970. Exciting projects and best of all, most are in our home province of Alberta. Proud to be a part of the Alberta economic recovery!!

Well into the 2016 business season, we are experiencing a very robust and solid business year to date. Clients are positive and moving forward with many unique and challenging projects. We and they feel that Alberta is still strong in many respects with a few challenges in the energy sector. GCCI's client diversity sets itself apart from others as we have always strived to maintain a good mix of industries that we build for. We are proud of our building quality, our long-term client relationships and our unending attention to details and the bottom line. Thank you you to everyone who is a part of our 3000+ trade base across Canada who are also a vast part of our extended team and who help drive our success. And above all else, Thank you to our clients who keep the belief in who we are, our integrity and in what we provide.

With 2015 coming to a close and our year still full steam ahead we have cause to reflect on our challenges and successes this year, being our 45 year in business. We have experienced record growth and revenue. We have achieved a number of successful, high profile projects. We are relocating our business to a larger, more productive location this next month as a result of these events. This will allow our company the room to grow even more and to tackle the exciting new projects we have coming down the pipes. All in all, GCCI Canada Inc has once again proven itself in the air of an uncertain economic climate. Being fair, honest and showing integrity in everything you do as a company and a team has its benefits and shows in your ultimate success. Here is to 2016 and great things to come.
