For the right buyer, that opens up the possibility to: validate new, serviced or rebuilt motors before they return to the field; strengthen QA/QC for a motor rental or rebuild operation; evaluate power sections and motor configurations; and support prototype development, engineering changes and R&D.
This is not a generic piece of shop equipment. It is an integrated testing system with a KAMAT 55140 triplex pump, NOV computer system, 60,000 lb-ft water-cooled brake system and 700 HP Caterpillar C18 diesel engine.
Everything is in excellent working order, including the C18, which has only clocked ~5,500 operating hours.
