04/28/2023
In Canada, we annually mark April 28th as the National Day of Mourning. It is dedicated to remembering those who were injured, disabled, or have lost their lives on the job or due to a work-related incident or occupational disease(s). Sadly, in Alberta, 161 lives were lost in 2022 due to workplace injury or illness.
Join us in honoring the memory of those who were killed, injured, or disabled, and renew your commitment to working safely. Together, we can work toward a safer workplace and answer the call to protect the health and safety of those who work during the most vulnerable of times.
