In the winter of 2020 a unique opportunity came our way when the Praytel family contacted 4 O.A.K.
Len, the patriarch of the family had recently suffered a serious stroke and renovations were required to accommodate his needs before he could return home. In their search for a contractor, they encountered some serious roadblocks. The first doing shoddy work and leaving the job incomplete. The second flat out stealing their deposit claiming it was the charge for the quote with no intentions of taking on the job. Not only was a renovation essential to accommodate the medical needs of the client, but repairs and restoration to the home and the family’s faith in humanity were also desperately needed.
