We recently had a call to replace a few floor boards that were splintering.
Upon closer inspection we found that the last installers just put cardboard over the old tile and then installed the flooring 😲 this lead to a very tricky situation where boards began breaking due to not having a level surface prior to installation.
While we could have just replaced the boards, we spoke at length with the homeowners who decided to allow us to do more than a repair, and leave them with flooring that will last for years to come.
We removed the current flooring with care to salvage all that we could, applied a special leveling solution, and re-installed the floor properly; the way it should have been from the start!
Our wonderful customers were so happy with the outcome, and we were proud to be able to complete the job correctly from start to finish!
Sometimes, repairs can just be one bandaid after another. We will always accept our clients choice, but we will advocate for doing a proper repair every time!
An investment in your flooring done right may cost a bit more at the get-go, but it will save you money in the long run, not requiring yearly repairs and aggravation!
