❄ We Know Permafrost! ❄
Participating in the 12th International Conference on Permafrost (hashtag ) has us reminiscing about our journey and expertise in some of the world's most challenging permafrost regions. Our commitment to innovation and safety has enabled us to complete numerous groundbreaking projects in the most remote and harsh environments.
𝐀 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:
❄ 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐻𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝐴𝑙𝑒𝑟𝑡, 𝑁𝑢𝑛𝑎𝑣𝑢𝑡: Drilled horizontal holes under an original building just over 800 km from the North Pole to restore it.
❄ 𝑃𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐴𝑟𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝑂𝑐𝑒𝑎𝑛 𝐷𝑟𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑡 𝐸𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝐼𝑠𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑑, 𝑁𝑢𝑛𝑎𝑣𝑢𝑡: Executed horizontal drilling operations extending into the Arctic Ocean.
❄ 𝐹𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝐷𝑟𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛 𝐵𝑎𝑘𝑒𝑟 𝐿𝑎𝑘𝑒, 𝑁𝑢𝑛𝑎𝑣𝑢𝑡: Our crew got snowed in to their arctic tent and had to dig their way out with a spoon!
❄ 𝐵𝑒𝑎𝑢f𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑆𝑒𝑎 𝐸𝑥𝑝𝑙𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛: Spent two seasons on the Beaufort Sea, encountering permafrost just 3 feet below the seabed.
❄ 𝑀𝑐𝐾𝑒𝑛𝑧𝑖𝑒 𝑉𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑦 𝑃𝑖𝑝𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡: Used our specialized Ranger drill, transported via helicopter, for operations from Hay River to Tuktoyaktuk, NWT.
❄ 𝐸𝑥𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑐ℎ 𝑎𝑡 𝑁𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑠, 𝑁𝑊𝑇: Conducted comprehensive studies on permafrost conditions.
❄ 𝐴𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝐴𝑑𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐵𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑠ℎ 𝑆𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑟: Deployed a specially designed drill for the construction of the runway at Rothera.
❄ 𝑆𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑑𝑜𝑐𝑘𝑠 𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑀𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑒𝑛𝑧𝑖𝑒 𝑅𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟: Tested every 25 miles from Ft. Providence to Ft. Good Hope, NWT.
