Olico Builders Inc is owned and operated by Eric Brisson. We specialize in the construction of residential apartment buildings.
We are currently seeking an experienced finishing carpenter, a team player who works well alongside others and can perform their duties competently and with efficiency.
Primary duties include interior/exterior:
• Knowledgeable in a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: caulking, painting, installing crown molding, trim, drywall repairs, mudding, taping, sanding, installing window & door, installing flooring, ceramic tiles, laminate, kitchen cabinets, etc.
• Experience in the use of hand and power tools including, but not limited to: caulking guns, mudding tools, drills, skill saws, etc.
• Extensive knowledge in back framing, framing repairs and new builds
• Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights and in tight spaces
• Experience with PDI’s and quality control and fixing deficiencies
• Be able to work with little or no supervision
• Carry out estimate of raw materials required for a project, skilled in reading and interpreting construction plans or drawing
• Able to read and understand architectural drawings
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Completion of a relevant finish carpentry training program or apprenticeship, minimum of 2 to 3 years carpentry experience, and an extensive knowledge on the building envelope systems
• Ability to work with texting and cellphone apps
