Rock/Haul Truck Operators

Entwistle Concrete Products ltd. is seeking to hire 1-2 rock/haul truck operators immediately.

•Must be able to or willing to learn to operate haul truck equipment.
•Assist in equipment repairs, clean-up, and re-fueling.
•Perform and report pre-shift safety inspection on equipment.
•Responsible for good housekeeping of equipment and grounds.
•Adhere to MSHA and company safety rules and regulations.
•Perform duties asked of by the supervisor with minimum supervision.
•Ability to conduct manual labor around yard if/when needed (moving pumps, stripping precast concrete, assisting Mechanics, etc.)

8-10 hour days, 5 days per week.

Entwistle Concrete Products Ltd. is looking for Class 1 and/or Class 3 drivers to join our team. The positions to be filled are Full-Time/Seasonal with the opportunity for Full-Time depending on work ethic, competency, and dependability.

Concrete Mixer Truck Driver – Full Time/Seasonal

Description:
-Follow procedures to ensure truck is safe to operate.
-When not performing driving duties assist with plant maintenance, cleanup and other duties (which include manual labor) as assigned by supervisor.
-Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance as required.
-Safely maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material, clean truck to minimize concrete buildup.
-Complete all forms, tickets and required paperwork in a timely manner.
-Communicate with dispatch, maintenance and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide good customer service.
-Ready-mix and concrete industry knowledge considered an asset
-Gravel hauling experience considered an asset.

Requirements:
-Valid Class 1 or 3 license.
-The ability to lift 60 lbs.
-The ability to climb, bend and stoop.
-Good driving record to maintain insurability.
-A current 5-Year Commercial Drivers Abstract will be required at the time of hire.
-Must be able to supply references from past employers, as well as Claims Experience letters from past employers stating driving experience/time with that company, type of unit driven, and commodity hauled. This is a must for our Insurance Company.
-Must be dependable, well organized, safety minded, and have efficient work habits.
-Basic vehicle maintenance skills

Salary: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Benefits:
-Available after 3 month probation period

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
-8 to 12 hours/day
Occasional Saturdays during summer season

Experience:
3 years commercial driving experience (preferred)
