Last minute touches to the Erin Fall Fair - Erin Agricultural Society Red Barn selfie site. We just finished engraving this year's Red Barn sign and got it installed with lots of time before the Fair starts. Be sure to post your selfie withe the hashtag . The Erin Fall Fair - Erin Agricultural Society has always been a very important part of my life. My Parent's spent an exhausting amount of hours Volunteering for the Fair and instilled that dedication in their children also. My Parents met during the set-up of the Fair in the mid 1950's, so you might say that my existence depended on the Fair lol. As the Erin Fall Fair moved into the 21st Century, the Partnership Program was developed and I have been a proud Partner ever since. This year's donation to the Silent Auction is one that I am especially proud of ....

1-3/4" x 38 x 84" ledged panel barn door. The door is made of Ambrosia Maple (wormy maple) and consists of 1-3/4, mortised rails and stiles with 2 floating square gap tongue and groove panels. The front of the door also includes two ledged braces. It is a design from centuries ago that will add to most interiors. It is sized to cover a standard 2'6" opening with up to 4" trim. Check it out in the Exhibits Hall and be sure to get you bids in to support the Fair. It is unfinished and the hardware is not included, but I will provide local delivery. If the size or material doesn't suit your decor, you can trade it in for it's value of $850.00 to go towards another size or style.

Two of our wide back Adirondack inspired chairs freshly oiled and ready for delivery. They are hand crafted of thermally modified (roasted) white ash. The roasting process changes the molecular structure of the wood so that it resists rot and decay. As we discover the I'll effects of microplastic pollution in our environment, roasted hardwood provides a renewable and sustainable alternative to plastic and composite materials.
