KRJ Custom Fabricating Ltd. is a busy, growing fabrication shop looking to add another Fabricator or Apprentice Fabricator to our team.

We work with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel on a wide range of custom fabrication projects. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can think for themselves, and wants to be part of a shop that focuses on quality workmanship and getting the job done right.

Experience with the following is an asset:
• MIG & TIG welding
• Spool gun aluminum welding
• Shear and brake operation
• Plasma cutting
• Reading and working from fabrication drawings
• General fitting, fabrication, and assembly

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, solve problems, take ownership of their work, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. A valid driver’s licence is required.

We’re looking for someone interested in a long-term career with our team and who takes pride in producing quality work.

We’re Hiring! 🔧

KRJ Custom Fabricating is looking to add another Fabricator or Apprentice Fabricator to our team.

We’re a small fabrication shop working on a large variety of projects, so this isn’t a position where you’ll be doing the same thing every day. Our work ranges from small repairs and one-off custom jobs to larger fabrication projects, with the opportunity to take a job from start to finish.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, mechanically inclined, and able to think through problems and work independently. Experience with MIG/TIG welding, aluminum spool gun welding, shear, brake, CNC plasma, fitting and general fabrication is a definite asset, but we’re also willing to consider an apprentice who has a good attitude and is eager to learn.

The position is primarily shop-based with very little outside work, and pay will depend on experience and ability.

Want the nicest gate on the bay? Come see us at KRJ!

The rain has definitely made it tough to get outdoor installs wrapped up, but we've still been keeping busy in the shop. With our CNC plasma table, brake, and shear, we've been able to keep production rolling while staying dry. Even better, all of our steel, aluminum, and stainless is stored indoors, keeping it protected from the elements until it's ready for your project.

Lately we've been building plenty of gates, along with stairs, toolboxes, firepits, and tackling all kinds of repairs to help keep our customers moving.

Here's hoping this rain is finally behind us and the heat starts coming from the sun instead of the welders!

Beautiful night to check out the new downtown last night! The kids had a blast on the bouncy castle, Wayne's Wiener Wagon was serving up some great food as always, and Kon's ice cream was the perfect treat to top off the evening. It was also great to see the flower pots filled and adding some color around town.

The warm weather has been keeping us busy as well. We've got plenty of stairs, gates, fire pits, and toolboxes on the go, along with some larger production runs involving hundreds of brackets and parts. When you're dealing with hundreds of pieces and thousands of holes, we're certainly thankful for the CNC plasma table and brake to keep everything accurate, efficient, and consistent.

May long is here and we’ve been putting in the work this week so we can hopefully get out and enjoy the weekend, and we hope you all get the chance to do the same!

Typical May long weather, and typical May long work around here too. This time of year we really start seeing the decorative projects roll in. Benches, gates, fire pits, privacy panels, custom signs, they’ve all been keeping us busy lately. Now let’s just hope the weather heats up to match.

Of course the industrial side never slows down either. Toolboxes, tanks, stairs, trailer repairs, deck modifications, sump covers, and that’s just what was sitting around the shop today.

With our CNC plasma, brake, and shear, we’re able to take on a wide range of custom projects, and we also stock a variety of metals and hardware if you’re tackling something yourself.
