Get your storm water pumps ready for “Rainaggedon”.
Best way to test them is unplug the float and plug the pump directly into the wall. Then plug it back into the float after the test.
You should hear it kick on, then make sure the discharge goes into a storm drain or edge of your property line, not the sewer drain. If everyone pumps to the sewer drain we all will overload our treatment system again, and all the sewage will go down and the river. Yes I know our infrastructure is as bad as what we flush down it in Fernie.
