From a modest start in 2005, BME has grown into a well-respected brand, with over 400 employees and 200 units in our fleet including Water trucks, Vacuum Trucks, Hydro Vacs, Semi vac, Combo Vacs, and Fuel Tankers. BME is an industry leader for Pressure, Vac and Fluid Hauling providing a vast list of services including tank and vessel cleans, fluid transfer and disposal, contained fluid neutralization, dangerous goods hauling, high- and low-pressure wash assist containment, potable water, sewer services, bulk fuel delivery, and solid waste management. BME is based and operates in northern Alberta, servicing customers within Treaty 8 Territory, the traditional lands of the Cree and Dene and historical homelands of the Metis. 2023 has seen BME expand operations and seek opportunities in Central Alberta and BC.

This past Friday, Birch Mountain Enterprises joined the Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association (NAABA) AGM and was recognized for more than 20 years of membership and support.

Our long-standing relationship with NAABA reflects a shared commitment to creating meaningful employment opportunities for people in our region, strengthening relationships, and working alongside industry to help meet evolving needs.

Speaking on behalf of BME, HSE Director Lydia Courteoreille reflected on the importance of trust, recognizing the strength of our team, keeping safety at the forefront, celebrating past successes, and continuing to build toward the opportunities ahead.

A great team spirit moment from today’s Northern Lights Health Foundation Hospital Bed Races.

Together, the event raised $71,000 in support of local healthcare, with the BME team raising more than $15,000.

Congratulations to the Northern Lights Health Foundation, all participating teams, volunteers and supporters on another successful event.

We’re proud of the BME Bed Pan Runners and everyone who helped make today such a strong show of community support.
