🎬 SCENE 1: MONDAY MORNING
Foreman walks onto the jobsite.
“Alright boys, what’s the plan today?”
Experienced chippy takes a sip of coffee.
“Build it right, make the customer happy, keep the apprentice from cutting the wrong end, and try not to lose my pencil before 9 AM.”
YOU. YOU’RE OUR GUY. 😂
HomeBoys Renovations is looking for a well-seasoned carpenter to join our crew. Not someone who needs to be babysat all day, but someone who knows their trade, takes pride in their work, can run a project, and understands that doing things right the first time saves everyone a headache.
🔨 SO, WHAT’S THE GIG?
We’re talking kitchens that make people fall in love with their homes again. Bathrooms that go from “what were they thinking?” to “WOW!” Windows and doors that actually keep the weather OUT. Fresh siding that makes the neighbours slow down for a second look. Framing, garages, basements, decks, and all sorts of projects that turn our customers’ ideas into something real.
Maybe it’s building a proper garage so a husband can finally get his toys out of the mudroom and give the kitchen drawers back to his wife. 😂
Or maybe we’re building a golf simulator where he can crush a few balls, enjoy a pint, and stop worrying about putting one through the neighbour’s living room window.
The projects change. The pride in the finished product doesn’t.
🛠️ WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
✅ A well-seasoned carpenter who knows their stuff.
✅ Someone capable of stepping up as a lead hand, managing the work, solving problems, and keeping projects moving.
✅ Someone who can take a scope of work and turn it into a finished product our customers are proud to show off.
✅ Someone who takes ownership, works efficiently, pays attention to the details, and doesn’t disappear when it’s time to clean up.
✅ Someone who enjoys a good laugh, can dish it out and take it, and wants to work with a crew that actually enjoys showing up.
✅ A valid driver’s licence is a MUST — you’ll need to be able to drive one of our company whips to and from the jobsite.
💰 AND LET’S TALK ABOUT THE GOOD STUFF.
We believe good carpenters are worth good money.
If you’ve got the experience, the work ethic, the craftsmanship, and the ability to take responsibility for a project, we want to recognize that. We’re looking for someone who wants to do quality work, take pride in what they build, and be compensated accordingly.
No one wants to drag themselves home every day wondering why they bothered. We want you going home tired from a productive day, proud of what you’ve accomplished, and happy with the paycheque you’ve earned.
😂 SCENE 2: FRIDAY AFTERNOON
Customer walks through their newly renovated kitchen.
“Holy smokes! This is exactly what we wanted!”
Chippy looks at the finished work, gives a little nod, and says:
“Yeah, we did alright.”
Heads home knowing the work was done right and payday is looking pretty good.
