Last week’s show, MEET 2026 was more than just an event for J. Wright Sales — it was a simple reminder of why we really love what we do. 💗 From reconnecting with longtime friends and industry partners to meeting so many wonderful new faces, every conversation and connection made this show incredibly special.

We work with some pretty amazing brands and we were beyond proud to showcase some of the rockstar manufacturers we represent, whose innovation, craftsmanship, and passion continue to inspire us every day. Seeing their products come to life on the show floor and watching people engage with them was truly rewarding. 👏

Behind the scenes, our all-star JWS team showed up with so much heart, dedication, and genuine care in every detail. The long hours, teamwork, and commitment did not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for the people who make our agency what it is. 🙌

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved colleague and dear friend, Ray Stockwood.

For more than 30 years, Ray dedicated his life to J. Wright Sales, giving far more than his role ever required. He worked with integrity, loyalty, and a quiet strength that could always be relied upon. Ray brought light and warmth wherever he went, and he was never shy about sharing a good laugh.

He took immense pride in his work, consistently looking out for others and going above and beyond in everything he did. Ray was truly an institution within the commercial industry—highly respected and deeply valued by his customers and colleagues alike.

Ray’s passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his impact, his friendship, and the example he set will live on. We are all better for having known him. He truly was our “Ray of light,” and he will forever remain an important part of the J. Wright Sales story.

Our thoughts are with Bev, Melissa and family.

Rest in peace, Ray.

A tradition we all look forward to each year at J. Wright Sales is decorating our tree at Pine Grove. A little Christmas tunes 🎶, ornaments galore, donuts 🍩 🙌 (thanks to Des and the Coffee Mill) and lots of laughs, our tree is up and ready to go! It’s a product of love and we are so appreciative for all those who help to get it ready. ❤️ 🎄

Throughout the month of December, visitors are invited to Pine Grove at 521 Woodstock Road any evening to view the lights. Pine Grove lights up their property with over 100 magical trees, sponsored by the Pine Grove Foundation and companies and individuals from our very own community. The trees create such a beautiful view for all the residents in the home and as a bonus, the proceeds go towards helping the home throughout the year afford many things like special beds, furniture and even a garden to improve the quality of life for their residents.

Our tree is sponsored in honour and memory of Dorothy Wright and Jerry Wright.
