Together with , we’ve turned his original concept of the chain l**e filled syringe on the backside of the seat tube, into a fully integrated electronic chain l**e dripper system built for gravel racing.
At the press of the handlebar mounted button, the system releases chain l**e onto the drivetrain through a custom guide positioned above the chainring.
A one second push of the button lubricates the full chain while pedaling at 75rpm.
The entire chamber sits hidden inside the seatpost and weighs just 100g.
Why? Because gravel racing is unpredictable. Water crossings, rain, mud, and long dry sections can quickly compromise drivetrain efficiency during a race.
This system allows Andrew to maintain drivetrain performance without stopping.
The first real world race test happens at Unbound Gravel this weekend.
We’re excited to see it perform under race conditions. Stay tuned for more insights and details to follow.

Most bike brands don’t lack ideas. They lack the bandwidth to execute them properly.
Pierre-Luc talks about where bike development projects typically go wrong, and how our experienced development support can help brands avoid delays, costly mistakes, and missed launch windows.

Wednesday Wheels | Specialized Stumpjumper
Meet Jérémie, CAD Designer at Faction, and the rider behind this Specialized Stumpjumper. A trail bike built for everything from quick after work laps to long days in the woods.
Most of its time is spent on Bromont’s enduro trails, with the occasional rip through Mont Royal. Jérémie swapped the coil shock for an air shock, played with the geo adjustments, and settled on a setup that keeps the bike stable when things get rough but still playful on trail.
Lately, he’s also been switching between flats and clipless pedals just to keep things interesting.

Wednesday Wheels | Specialized Stumpjumper

Faction in Action.
The past few weeks had the team spread across a few different corners of the world.
Jean and Adam spent time in California for Sea Otter, where they officially launched and displayed Atlas, our 32” gravel bike, while having some great conversations with people from across the industry. From there, Adam and Antoine headed into Southern California for some gravel riding, good roads, and good weather.
That same month, Julien and Erick were over in Germany for the 41 Publishing Top 100 Summit, testing e-bikes, meeting with industry partners, and showcasing Atlas to even more people.
A lot of what we do happens behind the scenes, but getting out, riding in new places, talking with people, and putting bikes in front of riders is just as important.
That’s Faction in Action.

Wednesday Wheels | Orbea Wild
Meet Julien, Director of Strategy and Marketing at Faction and the rider behind this Orbea Wild. It’s an eMTB, technically, but really it’s just built to make the most out of every ride.
“I ride it in Bromont,” Julien says. The best place to ride bikes east of the Rockies, and the kind of terrain that keeps things interesting. Early mornings, lunch laps, quick spins or longer days when time allows. It’s one of those bikes that just lets you get more in, no matter how much time you’ve got.
The setup leans that way too. Built for Bromont’s rocky, rooty tech, with more powerful brakes and a super light lever feel (big fan), plus 150mm short cranks so he can run mixed wheels and keep things playful. Fox Podium up front and X2 out back to stay smooth when it gets rough. Nothing overcomplicated, just a dialed setup that works.
And then there’s the OneUp V2 dropper. It’s already been on two bikes and still going strong. Always nice when a part actually holds up over time.
For Julien, it’s all about making the most of the ride. Getting out early, squeezing in a power hour, or stacking a full day’s worth of riding into a couple hours. As more of his crew have switched over, there’s been a running joke: if the trails are an ice cream jar, having an eMTB is like showing up with a much bigger spoon.
Sa prend ça!
