After 2 1/2 straight weeks of shutdown work, our crew has been putting in some serious hours — working tirelessly from sunup to sundown, including weekends, to get the job done! 🔧⚙️

Long days, hard work, and dedication haven’t gone unnoticed!

That’s why we’ve decided to give our crew Monday, October 12, off for some much-needed and WELL-DESERVED rest, so they can enjoy Thanksgiving with their families! 👊

💥 BIG EXCAVATOR BUCKET REPAIR IN THE SHOP! 💥

Sometimes, cheaper doesn’t mean better.

This bucket came in after the threads had already been repaired once — and this time, the threads were completely ripped out of both the rod and piston.

The good news? The barrel is still good to go. 👌

To get everything apart, we had to cut the barrel and butt apart to remove the piston.

Next steps:
🔧 Build a brand-new rod
🔧 Machine an oversized thread
🔧 Repair/remachine the piston
🔧 Reweld the butt
🔧 Get this customer back up and running as soon as possible

Hopefully, she’ll be back to work within the next few days. 💪

When the repair gets serious, bring it to the guys who can handle it.
