Meet Trey and Cruz, sitting at a 4" quartz waterfall island spanning 10ft with built-in cooking. The design emerged out of necessity to conserve space with dining and cuisine in one. A surface difference of 1/4" with the cooktop, it encompasses both design aesthetics, form and function by converting to an 8 seat dining. Weighing about 1,400 lbs, the floor joists were restructured with LVLs to transfer point loads. This patent pending model is a prototype to make room for improvements and can be re-envisioned to suit various interior design styles.
