Found a new hire on the yard this morning. A gray tree frog decided our tank cap was the best seat in the house.

These little guys can shift color from green to gray to brown depending on the light, and they turn up all over southern Ontario yards and gardens this time of year. Ours just picked a good one.

On a grey morning at the canal wall, one of our tankers ran a hose down to the CCGS Cove Isle, a Canadian Coast Guard navigation aids tender that has worked the Great Lakes since 1980. She marks the buoys and channels every other vessel depends on, and we're proud to help keep her fuelled.
