Electro-Federation Canada (EFC), with the support of members like HPS, is offering over $160,000 in scholarships to post-secondary students pursuing careers in the electrical industry.

At HPS, we’re proud to support the next generation of innovators and leaders shaping Canada’s electrical future. This year, we are sponsoring two $3,500 scholarships:

• HPS Outstanding Electrical Scholarship for students demonstrating strong academic achievement and leadership in electrical programs

The HPS team is back out in the community for Earth Day to support the health of our local ecosystems. We’ve partnered with Freshwater Conservation Canada again this year, a non-profit dedicated to protecting our vital waterways.

Our team spent the day along the Speed River, rolling up our sleeves to make a tangible impact through:
- Removing invasive species and replanting with native trees to support local biodiversity.
- Distributing seed balls for native wildflowers to encourage a healthy pollinator habitat.
- Using "live staking" with dogwood to naturally reinforce the riverbed and protect the shoreline.

At HPS sustainability isn’t just a goal, it’s about the actions we take today for a stronger tomorrow. 💚
