Material Handlers play a critical role in keeping production moving, and we’re growing our team! We’re currently hiring Material Handlers at several of our facilities.

In 1992, Francine Lodder joined Walinga. From the very beginning, it was clear that she was capable of so much more. Her knowledge, strength, and dedication quickly made her an invaluable part of the company, and it wasn’t long before she was leading the entire Finance Department.

Francine became Walinga’s first female executive, breaking new ground and proving time and time again that she was exactly where she belonged.

Through busy seasons, stressful times, and everything in between, Walinga always had one constant: we could trust Francine to have the finances under control. She was someone we could count on, and her steady presence gave confidence to everyone around her.

After more than three decades with Walinga, we are certainly sad to see Francine retire. The hole she leaves behind will be a difficult one to fill, and her knowledge, leadership, and friendship will be deeply missed.

But above all, we are happy for Francine as she begins this next chapter. She has given so much of herself to Walinga, and now she deserves the time to enjoy retirement and all that comes with it.

Francine, thank you for 34 years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to Walinga. We wish you nothing but the very best in your retirement. You will be missed.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but at B-W Feed & Supply , raising awareness isn’t something they do just one month a year.

It’s something they carry with them every single day.

This truck was wrapped in honour of Amber Marie, the daughter of one of B-W’s past drivers. Amber was fighting breast cancer, and sadly, that fight came to an end on April 23, 2025.

So when you see this truck on the road, you’re seeing more than a pink truck.

You’re seeing a reminder.

A reminder of Amber.
A reminder of the families affected by breast cancer.
And a reminder that behind every statistic is a real woman with a story, a family, and people who love her.

For Amber. And for every woman still fighting.
