Hawk River was founded more than 45 years ago and has been providing all aspects of site preparation services including, road building, septic system installation, excavation services, landscape architectural design and landscaping expertise, lumbering and snow plowing during those months when our County population drops from 65,000 to 25,000. Larry Hewitt has worked on more than 20,000 projects o

ver these years and is now doing work for the children of his first clients in the 70’s and 80’s. As a trusted advisor he is sought out for advice on all facets of the sites that most recreational properties are located on. With access to more than 120 pieces of site equipment, raw materials in the form of sand, gravel and crushed stone from one of 6 different quarries throughout the County, we are able to provide services to support all sizes and complexities of project through 50+ employees throughout the year.
