There's a lot of salt in our veins.
Just down the road from Enginuity HQ is the ol' Sambro Harbour.
Small craft harbours like Sambro are essential infrastructure. They support fishing, marine transportation, and our local economies depend on them. From coast to coast to coast, Canada’s fisheries, aquaculture, and seafood processing sectors sustain nearly 65,000 jobs, including over 42,900 commercial fish harvesters, and generated $8.47 billion in exports in 2025.
The Government of Canada’s announcement of nearly $1 billion in funding over five years to repair, maintain, and modernise small craft harbours marks a significant investment in the future of coastal and rural communities like Sambro and many others.
Over the years, many of our proudest achievements have been supporting these operations, at sea and dockside.
It is great to see these important economic engines getting the attention they deserve.
