On August 21, Trecan was pleased to host the Federal Minister responsible for Rural Economic Development and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), the Honourable Gudie Hutchings P.C., M.P., and two members of her staff.

The Minister and her staff toured Trecan’s production shops. Trecan CEO Glen Burnett and COO John Wanczycki provided an overview of our production process, the company’s history and business accomplishments, and answered questions from an engaged and informed Minister.

Trecan has worked with ACOA in many capacities over the years. We are grateful for ACOA’s support and have been consistently impressed with the dedication and professionalism of their team. We look forward to many more years of collaboration with ACOA.

John is responsible to keep our warehouse in good working order and ensures our team has all the parts required to do their jobs. This 250-PD is one of the largest machines Trecan makes. With winter almost here, major airports, companies and cities turn to Trecan machines to ensure that snow is removed from important areas quickly, effectively and safely. We're proud to send off this unit and watch it go to work!
