🏆✨Thrilled to see this informative Grade 4 project titled “Digging Deeper: Canada’s Critical Minerals” at the LeMarchant St. Thomas heritage fair last week, which proudly won the People’s Choice Award!!!

The project highlights the pivotal role of everyday minerals like cobalt, lithium, copper, and rare earth elements in forging a sustainable future - Great work Elliott Sheppard! ♻️ 🧲📱🛰️🚎

Join us in celebrating this achievement and encouraging our youth to keep digging deeper into the science that shapes our world! ✨⛏️

The Coxheath Copper Deposit has a rich history of mining and exploration starting in the 1870’s. It’s hypothesized that a transect through an intact Precambrian Cu-Au-Mo porphyry and related epithermal system exists within Nova Copper’s 26 sq.km claim package near Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Historical data was recently digitized and comprehensively modeled for the first time, but as with all projects that have repeatedly changed hands (and were explored before/early in the digital age), there are gaps in data and important questions that need to be answered.

Fortunately, a significant amount of Coxheath drillcore (dating from the 1965 to 2011) is preserved at the NSDNRR Core Library in Stellarton and we are now bringing this data into the fold with an in-depth relog and infill assay program, in order to better model historical data and develop robust exploration plans for resource expansion.

Stay tuned for exciting updates along the way!
