Popcorn removal is always a good choice. Especially in the case of this cathedral ceiling. Stay tuned for progress pictures of the improvements in this home. New pot lights, new trim, doors and baseboards, and a color refresh on the walls.

This basement had a leak due to a foundation crack near the beam pocket at this location.
After repairing the cause of the leak, this basement received a pretty good makeover.

New flooring, new baseboards, wall repairs, framed out portion of the wall where the building drain cleanout is with access panel (previously had no access panel), opened up air return with new grille (previously buried), and new paint job.

What is a BCIN Designer?
In Ontario, a Building Code Identification Number is required for the design of plans for building permit application. Designers are certified by the MMAH for the design of certain buildings and are required to hold insurance and maintain registration. A BCIN designer takes exams that give them qualifications. The qualifications held under a BCIN are related to the type of building a holder can design. This ensures code compliance and gives clients peace of mind that their designs will be approved in a timely manner.
