We’re excited to share that Guided Hands is covered through Passport Funding for eligible clients in Ontario! This program supports adults 18+ across the province. ♿️
Through this funding, Sunbeam was able to adopt several Guided Hands devices for their community, helping more individuals access writing, painting, technology, and creative expression independently!

A heartwarming new chapter is unfolding for individuals facing hand mobility challenges. Sunbeam and some of the people we support have purchased the innovative Guided Hands® assistive device from Canadian-based ImaginAble Solutions to empower our clients.
Guided Hands® is an award-winning tool designed for those with limited fine motor skills. Its clever sliding system guides movements using stronger shoulder motions rather than just hands. The adjustable handpiece securely holds pens, paintbrushes, markers, or styluses, paired with an ergonomic wrist rest for comfort.
Clients at Sunbeam are now rediscovering the joy of writing heartfelt notes, painting vibrant artwork, drawing freely, and even accessing tablets for communication and games. One client beamed, “I can create again—it feels like freedom!”
