Just wrapped up this flip for our client in Brantford. Not quite a full top to bottom remodel but did enough to make this place look absolutely incredible!

Wavy walls are an issue when there's no backslash to hide the differences. We scribe everything regardless but here's a quick few pictures on the process.

1. Set counter equidistant from the front edge of the cabinets at the amount you want the counter to overhang plus the size of scribe that works, in this case 3/8 of an inch
2. Clamp counter down and use your scribe or marking knife to run along the back wall.
3. Scribe to line using a grinder/ planer/ sander.
4. Check fit and screw it down!

Once you get in the habit of doing things the proper way then they become a part of your systems and should be implemented whenever applicable.

Were working on wrapping up this White Shaker Kitchen in Caledonia this week. Taking off the shelf cabinets and making them look custom is one of our specialties!

Did you know you can take off the shelf cabinets and create a totally custom look?

We took 4 seperate in stock cabinets, added a valance and crown moulding as well as a kick plate and fillers on both sides to create this beautiful looking built in cabinet for a fraction of the cost. This mudroom addition will house everything the client wants to keep out of sight and looks like an expensive piece of custom furniture in the process!
