Project progress from Northern Ontario: another major milestone reached at the Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) healthcare campus.

The structure for the hospital’s main public space is officially in place, creating the defining overhead feature of the main entrance. With structural steel installation approximately 95% complete, this drone shot shows the hospital continuing to take shape — and the scale of a project that will help bring culturally welcoming care closer to communities along the Western James Bay and Hudson Bay coasts.

Proud to be moving this important project forward alongside Weeneebayko Area Health Authority, Infrastructure Ontario and Pomerleau.

Teeing off for a great cause!⛳

Last week, Walters Group took part in the Susanne Pariot Memorial Golf Outing at Knickerbocker Country Club as a Presenting Sponsor.

Organized by members of our Metropolitan Walters team, the event supports the Trades Family Foundation and its mission to provide scholarships and financial support to children of tradespeople.

It was a great day of golf, connection, and giving back to the trades community.

There's nothing quite like seeing a project in person. Walking through the building gives a new appreciation for the scale, craftsmanship, and collaboration behind every space.

From exposed structural steel and timber to the community spaces beginning to take shape, the vision for the facility was a sight to see.
