From July 14th to July 17th, the McMaster Seismic Design Team had the privilege to participate in the Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition hosted by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute in Portland, OR. The team was incredible proud to finish 14th out of 47 schools internationally, along with a 7th place competition proposal. We also valued the opportunity to meet students from around the world, and seeing all of our hard work culminate in a successful competition performance.
We would also like to thank all of our sponsors for their support throughout the year, which played an invaluable role in allowing us to participate in the competition. We look forward to seeing what we can accomplish next year!
