This gold-bearing vein on our Terra Nova claims previously assayed 7 g/t gold. We travelled downriver to collect more samples from different sections of the vein—and found chalcopyrite continuing farther along it. Now we wait to see what the new samples reveal.

We recently travelled down Terra Nova River to check out our mineral claims—and discovered more than interesting rocks along the way! ⛏️
THE OUTDOOR GUY and his side kick Cheryl came along for the day !
We explored the river, examined mineralized outcrops and even came across the remains of an old logging camp dating back to the 1930s or 1940s.

We put this piece of amethyst on the rock saw, and I wasn’t expecting the pattern hiding inside. Wait until you see those bands when the cut opens up! 💜

Prospecting isn’t always about finding the rocks… sometimes it’s about trying to reach the gear in the back of the truck. 😂 Larry makes it look easy!

We decided to put this amethyst from our vein on the rock saw and see what was hiding inside. The outside was beautiful, but that cut face revealed an incredible chevron pattern. 💜
