SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the Administrative/Accts Payable Clerk includes but are not limited to the following:
• Performs admin duties including receiving visitors, providing information, and directing to appropriate areas, answering telephone, receiving, and relaying messages.
• Scan, copy and file documents
• Maintains office filing system for personnel records, and payables.
• Entry and reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing
• Assists in preparing payroll
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all employee personnel and organizational matters of a confidential nature
• Maintains Policies and Procedures Manuals as directed and as per regulations.
• Keeps equipment and all work areas clean and conducts routine cleaning and appropriate maintenance of work area as required.
• Provide support for Supervisors and Management Team
• Ad hoc projects and reporting support
• Support/vacation relief
• Performs other duties as requested
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 2 years of office admin and bookkeeping experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) with strong skills in Excel and word
• Strong technical skills with the ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Detail oriented with strong data entry skills
• Excellent organizational, prioritizing, and time management skills
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Willing and able to work as part of a team or independently
• Comfortable with change
• Possess the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
