We're nearing completion of the Pikwakanagan Primary Health Care Facility.

This new space is dedicated to health, wellness, and community in Pikwakanagan—a 4,000 sq. ft. medical centre designed to support both healthcare services and community wellness.

The facility includes medical treatment areas, physiotherapy space, patient rooms, wellness programming, training spaces, and thoughtfully designed waiting areas that create a welcoming environment for patients, families, and staff.

Built on a challenging site with complex underground conditions, the project required careful planning, innovative solutions, and close collaboration from start to finish.

We're grateful to be contributing to a project that will serve the Pikwakanagan community for years to come.

We're pleased to have been awarded the renovation of employee facilities at IVACO's Rod Mill and Melt Shop in L'Orignal.

To be completed in two phases, the project includes upgrades to lunchrooms, cafeterias, washrooms, locker rooms, HVAC systems, ceilings, flooring, finishes, and associated building systems. Following significant demolition, the renovated spaces will provide modern, functional environments for employees while supporting ongoing operations.

ASCO led a major interior renovation of Kingston’s Grand Theatre, including the construction of a new 750-seat performance space with suspended balconies, an elevating orchestra pit, and state-of-the-art theatrical systems.

Michael leads all pre-construction activities at ASCO, working closely with clients, consultants, and trade partners from the earliest stages of a project, helping turn ideas into solutions. His experience spans business strategy, estimating, design-build, quality management, and project development.

Michael is also recognized for his work on high-performance buildings, including the award-winning Salus project, the first multi-unit residential building in North America to achieve International Passive House Institute (PHI) certification.

Every day, water treatment facilities work behind the scenes to provide communities with safe, reliable drinking water. Supporting those facilities requires infrastructure that is dependable, efficient, and ready for the future.

At the Oakville Water Purification Plant, ASCO is working with Halton Region to install a new Battery Energy Storage System and solar power system that will strengthen the facility’s energy resilience and support more sustainable operations.

Through collaboration with Total Power and Selectra, this project brings together advanced energy solutions that will help manage demand, improve reliability, and support the long-term operation of a critical community asset.

Building schools is about more than construction—it’s about creating spaces where communities grow.

ASCO delivered the new Riverside South Elementary School in Manotick, a $10M facility designed to support students, teachers, and families for years to come.

The project presented unique challenges, including forming and pouring the school’s tilt-up concrete panels on site throughout the winter months while maintaining the schedule for the new school year. Through careful planning, teamwork, and the dedication of our crews and trade partners, the project was completed ahead of schedule.

The completed school includes classrooms, administrative areas, a gymnasium, playgrounds, and landscaped outdoor spaces—creating a welcoming environment for students from the very first day.

Every successful project is the result of people working together toward a shared goal, and this school is a great example of what can be achieved through strong collaboration and commitment.
