TULLOCH has recently been awarded another Contract Administration assignment in MTO’s Northeast Region. CA Assignment 5025-C-2383 is a two-season project administering MTO Contract 2026-5008 just west of Timmins.

The project involves the rehabilitation of Highway 101 from 0.1 km west of Highway 144 to 0.2 km east of Government Road, including the replacement of the Thunder Creek Culvert. The contractor’s work will include grading, drainage, granular base, hot mix paving, electrical, and structural work. Construction is scheduled to commence in early June and wrap up in fall 2027.

As Contract Administrator, TULLOCH will support the project through construction oversight, site inspections, contract documentation, quantity verification, contractor coordination, progress reporting, and quality assurance.

We’re proud to continue supporting MTO infrastructure projects across Ontario, helping deliver safe, reliable, and resilient transportation corridors for the communities that depend on them.

TULLOCH has been named one of the Best Workplaces™ for Mental Wellness in Canada by Great Place to Work Canada.

This list celebrates organizations that make mental wellness a meaningful part of the employee experience. It is rooted in a simple but important belief: mental wellness is not a perk. It is a foundation for a high-trust workplace.

A psychologically healthy workplace is one where people can speak openly, ask for help, take time when needed, and feel confident being themselves. It is built through everyday actions like listening, encouraging open communication, and responding constructively to concerns.

Based entirely on direct employee feedback, this recognition speaks to TULLOCH’s ongoing commitment to building a people-first workplace where trust, care, and mental wellness matter.

Earlier in May, TULLOCH attended the 2026 OPWA Awards Luncheon in Mississauga, where the Port Carling Pavilion and Docks Reconstruction Project received the OPWA Project of the Year Award in the Structures, $2–$10M category.

Hosted by the Ontario Public Works Association (OPWA), the luncheon brought together public works professionals, municipalities, consultants, contractors, project teams, and industry partners to celebrate outstanding projects and achievements across Ontario.

The project was delivered by the District Municipality of Muskoka in partnership with the Township of Muskoka Lakes, with George Martin & Sons as the general contractor and TULLOCH as the engineering consultant, alongside support from other subcontractors and subconsultants.

Located at the Port Carling Locks in Muskoka Lakes, the Port Carling Pavilion and Docks serve as a central gathering space and public access point, supporting day-to-day waterfront use, seasonal visitor activity, and community events. Through this reconstruction, the landmark waterfront structure has been renewed while preserving its recognizable look and feel, improving accessibility, and delivering long-term public value for residents and visitors.

Congratulations to all of this year’s award recipients, and thank you to OPWA for recognizing the collaboration, technical expertise, and project delivery that help strengthen public infrastructure across Ontario.

Earlier this week, TULLOCH joined the Town of Blind River, MPP Bill Rosenberg, and project partners on site for a groundbreaking ceremony for the Blind River Water Intake and Low Lift Pumping Station Project.

Supported by the Ontario Government’s Housing-Enabling Water Systems Fund, this important infrastructure project includes a new raw water intake and a low-lift pumping station that will help connect the community to its new Lake Huron water source and support long-term reliability, resilience, and growth in Blind River.

TULLOCH is providing project management and site inspection services throughout construction.

We look forward to working alongside the Town of Blind River, Industra Construction, PUC, and the other contractors, subcontractors, and subconsultants involved as this critical infrastructure project moves forward.
