Another angle of the stair project.

By this point we were almost at the top section, but this view really shows the scale of the hill. It may not look that steep on camera, but trust us—it’s a long climb.

These stairs are no joke!

Work smarter, not harder.

We got a lot of questions about how we got the stair treads down this hill.

A crane helped lift some of them from below, but it couldn’t even reach halfway up. The rest came down the old-fashioned way—a wagon, a simple pulley system, plenty of manpower, and a whole lot of trips up and down the hill.

Last week we got to about the halfway point on this stair stringer installation.

Building on a steep hillside definitely adds a few challenges, but it’s starting to come together. Looking forward to seeing the finished stairs take shape in the coming weeks.

Not a bad office for the day.

Out on a bridge project a couple of weeks ago welding reinforcement brackets for the guard rails. We love the days that take us out of the shop and into the field.

Back from powder coat and now installed.

The homeowners designed this handrail themselves, and we worked with them to make sure everything fit perfectly.

Not quite finished yet — a wood top will be added by the contractor to complete the look.
