Today on International Women's Day in Mining, QIL honours the women whose work enables our success. At the Mary River mine site, QIL provides various services, and women form a vital part of every team and service we provide. They prepare meals that fuel the workforce, maintain the living spaces on which hundreds of workers depend, and help keep the site safe and secure. A mine cannot function without a workforce that is well-fed, well-rested and safe, and the women of QIL deliver that standard with professionalism, resilience and pride every day.
