At this time, while investigations are still ongoing at our Stirling Place project following an unfortunate accident. We would just like to take this opportunity to extend our deepest sympathies to the injured worker and his family. Our hearts go out to them, as we wish for the best recovery and outcome that could be expected in light of this event.

We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude and sincere respect to the incredible first responders, emergency medical personnel, and all involved in the rescue efforts at our site earlier this week.

In an extremely challenging situation, their professionalism, collaboration, and unwavering focus led to the successful and safe extraction of the worker. Due to the complexity of the incident, it may appear as though it took too long to carry out the rescue, however the duration of the extraction highlights the careful, deliberate measures taken to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

This gratitude goes out to the following agencies:
• Brockville Fire Department
• Ottawa Fire Services
• Brockville Police Services
• Leeds and Grenville Paramedics
• Elizabethtown-Kitley Fire Department
• Ornge Air Ambulance
• The doctors and nurses at Brockville General Hospital
• All the contractors that took action and assisted first responders
• The doctors, nurses and support staff at the Kingston General Hospital

In the meantime, we are fully cooperating with the Ministry of Labour and Brockville Police Service as they carry out a thorough investigation. We remain committed to doing everything possible to assist in determining the cause of the incident and to ensuring that such a tragedy never happens again.
