The MAKR Group consists of three companies with distinct products — Parkworks, Waterplay, and Wekid Manufacturing.

Do you love turning bold ideas into business growth, building teams that raise the bar, and finding smarter ways to make marketing work harder? We're looking for a Director of Marketing to shape the future of marketing across MAKR and our brands, connecting strategy, creativity, and commercial insight to deliver results that make an impact.

In this role, you'll lead our global marketing strategy, driving everything from brand positioning and demand generation to digital marketing, product launches, trade shows, and go-to-market initiatives.

You'll work closely with Sales, Product Development, and business leaders to uncover new opportunities, strengthen the sales pipeline, and connect marketing investments to measurable business outcomes. Along the way, you'll lead and develop a talented team, champion innovation across CRM, automation, analytics, and AI, and use customer insights, market intelligence, and performance data to guide decisions, maximize ROI, and keep our brands moving forward.

This role is perfect for a strategic marketing leader who knows how to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on ex*****on. You bring 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and managers, and deep expertise in B2B marketing, demand generation, and sales alignment. You're confident managing budgets, navigating complex multi-brand environments, and turning data into decisions that drive growth. You're a collaborative problem-solver, a curious thinker, and the kind of leader who inspires people to do their best work.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelowna, BC.

It was the perfect excuse to get the team together, catch up, share a few laughs, and add a little extra flavour to the Monday routine.

Kelowna, you made this summer one heck of a ride! 🚲☀️

Meet Me On Bernard has officially wrapped up for 2026, and the Parkitect Pump Tracks track was buzzing with first tries, fast runs, big smiles, and plenty of repeat visits.

A huge thank you to everyone who rolled through, gave the track a go, cheered someone on, or simply stopped to soak up the summer energy. And a big shoutout to the City of Kelowna and Downtown Kelowna for helping make Bernard Avenue such a fun place to be.

What a summer, Kelowna. We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 💚

Summer evenings hit a little different with the Edmonton team! ☀️🎉

Our Edmonton MAKRs and their families gathered at Hermitage Park last week for games, great food, plenty of laughs, and even better company.

The lawn games brought out a few competitive spirits, the sun was shining, and everyone got a well-earned chance to step away from the office, catch up, and make the most of summer together! 😎

Turns out, the Langley team is just as competitive at co****le as they are good at what they do! 😎🏆

Our first MAKR Mixer of the summer brought the Langley crew and their families together at Walnut Grove Park for good food, sunshine, plenty of laughs, and a co****le tournament that kept everyone on their toes.

No meetings. No agendas. Just a great crew spending some quality time together outside the office.
