A bold move for a powerful cause! 🤩

On April 9, MAKR Gabriel Cancino donated his hair to Wigs for Kids B.C., turning a personal act of generosity into something that will make a real difference for children and families.

His donation comes just ahead of Bands, BBQ, Beers and Balding, a fundraiser in support of BC Children's Hospital Foundation and JoeAnna's House taking place on April 11 at the Laurel Packinghouse in Kelowna, BC.

Gabriel, thank you for leading with courage and heart. We’re proud to celebrate your commitment to a cause that changes lives.

Kelowna Industry & Trades Day is back! 🎉

Join us, along with other local businesses in Kelowna’s North End, as we open our doors on May 2, 2026 from 10am–3pm! 🤩

Formerly known as North End Community Day, this event invites you to step inside local businesses and experience the industries that help shape our community. Expect family-friendly activities, live demos, and hands-on fun hosted by businesses across the North End.

Take a tour through our facility to see what happens on the Wekid Manufacturing shop floor, and experience how Waterplay splash pad features are brought to life! Finish off your visit with refreshments and some EPIC 💦splashes💦 under our Mega Soaker on the official Waterplay test pad.

A $20 donation to JoeAnna's House at KGH Foundation gives your family a passport to participate in the day’s activities and enjoy hours of interactive fun.

☘️ The luck of the Irish showed up strong across the MAKR offices today!

Our FUN MAKRs spread the St. Patrick’s Day spirit across all locations with snack bars stacked full of festive green treats, a lively 50/50 draw, and a some special MAKR Munchie pass giveaways for anyone bold enough to wear green. Because around here, we believe work should come with a little joy (and a few snacks).

The MAKR Group consists of three companies with distinct products — Parkworks, Waterplay, and Wekid Manufacturing.

Do you love connecting dots, asking smart questions, and keeping opportunities moving in the right direction? We're looking for a Lead Coordinator to help make sure the right projects land with the right teams at exactly the right time.

As the front door to our sales pipeline, you will research, qualify, and clearly define project opportunities before they head off to Sales or Business Development. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to dig into bid opportunities, assess fit, track down missing details, and turn early interest into well-shaped opportunities. Along the way, you will keep our CRM clean, our lead data sharp, and our teams focused on what matters most.

This role is perfect for someone who is detail-driven, naturally curious, and secretly thrilled by a well-organized system. If you enjoy juggling multiple priorities, collaborating across teams, and knowing your work helps good ideas become real projects, you will fit right in. Bonus points if you believe work can be both effective and genuinely fun!

This is an on-site position located at our Kelowna, BC office.
