Where the part deviates from spec, the colors show it.

This image is a concept render of color-coded inspection. Green typically indicates conformance to spec, while red and blue typically mark where the part runs over or under the design.

Aerospace surfaces are complex, with curved leading edges, internal vanes, and cast volutes. A 3D scan captures full-surface data, and the comparison against the CAD model produces a deviation map you can read at a glance.

This intake manifold was built by hand and never had a drawing. Every dimension was shaped through feel and iteration, and the only record of it was the part itself.

Our Artec Leo picked up every curve and radius across the entire part. All of that geometry that only ever existed in the metal now exists as a digital file, too.

A local client's custom door pins had worn and broken over time, with no replacement source available. We scanned the most intact original, redesigned it, and printed two pins in titanium. Stronger than the stainless steel that failed, and the file now exists permanently. Next time one is needed, there is no starting over.

What do you do when the part is no longer in production, and no catalog, no supplier, and no junkyard has one left?

You scan the original. We capture every curve and contour with our Artec 3D scanners, picking up not just the shape but the design intent behind it. That data becomes a reverse-engineered CAD model, and the model becomes a replacement that's faithful to the original, down to the proportions that made it right for that car.
