Temporary Concrete Roof Tile Repair – CSA Roofing

Due to the existing concrete roof tiles being discontinued and replacements unavailable, a temporary repair was completed to protect the damaged area until a permanent roof replacement can be carried out in spring.

Aluminum backing was installed beneath the damaged section, followed by roofing sealant and reinforcing mesh. A polymer-modified concrete repair mortar was then applied and shaped to restore the tile profile and provide additional protection against weather exposure.

This repair is intended as a short-term solution to help minimize water infiltration through the winter months. A permanent replacement is recommended in spring 2027.

From an aging tar-and-gravel roof to a sharp, modern roofing system!

This project was a complete transformation, combining cold-applied roofing, architectural shingles, and custom metalwork to create a clean, durable, and visually impressive finish.

Different roof slopes require different roofing solutions, and bringing these systems together properly is what makes a project like this stand out.

The contrast between the old tar-and-gravel roof and the finished product speaks for itself. The black metal valleys and detailed finishing work really bring everything together!

Another Challenging Roof Completed by CSA Roofing! 🏠
