We primarily specialise in new commercial work, experience is an asset but not a requirement.
Remuneration:
- Journeyman starting at $42/hour +
- Company truck provided after probation period
Duties:
- Occasional apprentice training, supervision, and support
- Work within the construction industry in a commercial or residential environment
- Solder, thread pipe, take accurate measurements and interpret isometric drawings
- Install new equipment and materials
- Complete the required daily equipment inspections, safety reports, and Field Level Hazard Assessments
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Safety-conscious
- Attention to detail
- Experience with commercial plumbing and heating systems such as domestic water, hydronic heating, gas piping, drainage, and venting
- Exercise sound judgment and maintain a professional demeanor
- Strong technical expertise
- Ability to work well under pressure, individually, and as part of a team
- Ability to take the correct initiative and work independently while maintaining clear communication with the overseeing foreman.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Journeyman Plumber Certification or proof of apprenticeship
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, Fall Protection are considered an asset
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and proactive attitude. We are a growing team and we're looking for someone that is looking to advance their career.
- Experience in commercial plumbing is considered an asset
- Gas Ticket is considered an asset
