JOB OPPORTUNITY: Licensed Carpenter

We're growing and looking for a skilled, experienced, and reliable Licensed Carpenter to join our crew in a Crew Leading Position.
👉Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Carpenter to lead our team on various new construction projects and renovations. As a Crew Leader, you'll not only apply your trade skills but also guide and manage a team of carpenters, apprentices and labourers to ensure all projects are completed safely, on time, on budget and to the highest standards.
👉Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise a team of carpenters, apprentices, and labourers on new home builds and renovations
• Manage and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring work is completed to code and in compliance with safety standards
• Oversee the quality of craftsmanship and make sure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedules
• Assist with the installation of framing, siding, windows, doors, decks, interior finishing and other key elements of new construction and renovations
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project flow
• Maintain job site organization, ensuring tools and materials are handled properly and safely
• Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices.
• Perform regular quality checks and resolve any issues that arise on-site
• Ensure a safe and productive work environment
👉Requirements:
• Carpentry License
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Reliable transportation and a clean driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
