The evolution
2008. It started with the purchase of an excavator and a move to Kimberley, BC. Cornerstone Excavating & Contracting was created as a Sole Proprietorship under Jeff Cook. Coming from a landscaping background, that was the business - landscape construction. If you see an amazing rock wall or a really straight fence in our communities of Kimberley & Cranbrook, it was most likely built by Jeff. Over the past ten years, timing was right and the opportunity for trail construction changed the direction of the business. Getting people outside to enjoy “your space” is what the mission has always been. Whether that is transforming your backyard of weeds to an amazing outdoor sanctuary or finally getting a well marked path to the wonderful forested mountains that surround you. So 10 years later, we are moving forward as Lifetime Outdoor Inc. Mechanized trail construction as Lifetime Trails will be the primary focus and Lifetime Landscape will continue, but scaled back in operation.
