This backyard wasn’t built for a pool. So we rebuilt the backyard.
When we arrived, this property had nearly 3 feet of elevation change from the back of the house to the fence. There wasn’t a single usable level area to work with.
Creating this outdoor space meant starting from the ground up.
We formed and poured a custom concrete retaining wall around the perimeter, allowing us to bring in substantial amounts of aggregate and completely transform the property’s elevation.
But levelling the yard was only half the challenge.
With the entire backyard being finished with interlock, proper water management was absolutely critical.
The clean channel drains you see are just the beginning. Beneath this finished surface is an extensive network of buried drainage designed to collect and redirect stormwater without negatively impacting neighbouring properties.
The result? A completely transformed backyard featuring a beautiful inground pool, expansive interlock entertaining areas, clean transitions around the home, and a space that finally lives up to the property’s potential.
