CIM Toronto is running a student mine tour over six days in May and is inviting Queen's undergraduate and graduate students to participate. The total cost of the trip where you tour 5 operating mines is $200 and more information can be found in the attached photos.

Note from the organizer:
We plan to have ~10 students from universities around the GTA participate in this event. Availabilities will be on a first come first serve basis and will be open to all students (graduates and/or undergraduates) enrolled in earth sciences, engineering or mining MBA program. The event will be subsidized by CIM Toronto Branch and industry sponsorship, however a nominal amount of $200.00 will be required for each student to hold their place for the event. The students will have the pleasure of having 2 of our committee executive on the tour (drivers and opportunity creators). Kurt Breede (Mineral Resource & Corporate Development Consultant) and Shilika Mathur (Environmental Scientist) – introductions to come soon.

Please reach out to Katie Pilmoor if you have any questions!
