Salus Marine Wear is the only Canadian manufacturer of inherently buoyant PFDs and lifejackets. Their production facility in Waterloo, Ontario has always focused on waste reduction and reuse, so adding a solar system to the roof was a logical environmental step.

Salus Marine Wear partnered with CED Co-op to install a 160kW system of 619 panels covering both sides of their peaked metal roof.
